Asbestos Abatement and Demolition from qualified contractors who hold a current Certificate of Eligibility in the DCAMM categories of Demolition. No filed sub-bids are required for this project. Project Location: Old Primavera School, 60 Harbin Street, Bellingham, MA. The work includes Removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials and Demolition as called out in the specifications. Each BID shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the Total Bid Price. Payment and Performance Bonds is required of the successful bidder each should be in the amount of 100% of the Total Contract Price. Attention is called to the fact that not less than minimum prevailing wage rates set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project. Attention is also called to requirements relating to Workmen's Compensation and conditions of employment. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 120 days from the date of the opening of the bids, Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays excluded, for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
