Site work and paving for a civil project in Saint-Sauveur, Quebec. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Repair of avenue Lafleur Nord, rue des Merisiers, a portion of avenue Saint-Jacques, a portion of rue Lalonde, a portion of rue Hébert and a portion of chemin du Lac-Millette. The City wants street repair work to involve environmentally responsible management of runoff water by integrating new ecological practices, such as the installation of filtering swales, bioretention areas that promote groundwater recharge, while limiting the contribution of runoff water to the rest of its stormwater network. Prior to the mandate described in this call for tenders, the City has awarded several complementary professional services mandates for the preparation of plans and specifications for the repair of urbanized streets subsidized by the FIMEAU program, namely, a geotechnical study, a environmental characterization, a hydrological study, an urban development study as well as a master travel plan for the sector under study. TIMELINE: The owner is implementing construction program by construction packages. The first construction package relating to work in 2023 has been already tendered, awarded and is followed in the report under CRM ID name Road Repair Program in Non-Urbanized Sector 2023. Construction is underway. New package tenders are anticipated starting spring 2024 and will be followed in a new separate reports.
