The City of Beaumont requests bids for an annual contract to provide custodial services as described herein at the Water Reclamation Offices, located at 4900 Lafin Rd., Beaumont, Texas. This contract shall be in effect for a period of one (1) year beginning on the date of the award. Prices stated in the bid are to be firm for the period of the contract. At the end of the initial term, the City may renew this contract for two (2) additional one (1) year terms at the price quoted No minimum or maximum quantities of work are guaranteed. This contract may be canceled by either party by providing written notice at least thirty (30) days in advance. All portions of this bid requiring data or information must be filled in completely. Failure to do so may result in bid rejection due to non-response. Certifications, where required, shall accompany the bid submission. Questions received less than seven (7) days prior to the date of opening bids may not be answered. Only questions that have been resolved by formal written addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Bidder may not be more than sixty (60) days past due on any debt to the City, including but not limited to: water bills, licenses, permits or fees, or more than ninety (90) days past due on property taxes. The City reserves the right to waive bid informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to award to the most responsible bidder making the most satisfying offer to the City.
