Site work and renovation of a civil project in Social Circle, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
A summary of the work items is included below: This project consists of improvements at the Social Circle Water Treatment Plant. These improvements include filter rehabilitation which will consist of new underdrains and media, new piping and valves, SCADA and filter control improvements, new control panel, new instrumentation, and concrete rehabilitation. Also included is the rehabilitation of the filtered water piping and finished water piping that is located inside the clear well. The work of constructing the project will be let under one Contract if an award should be made; and the Owner reserves the right to select the Bid considered by the Owner to be in the best interest of the Owner. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the City of Social Circle in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract.
