Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Olathe, Kansas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 152,500-square-foot, 24-acre educational facility; for the demolition of a 140,500-square-foot educational facility; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Replace the existing 140,500 sq. ft. middle school with an entirely new 152,500 sq. ft. middle school. The existing track and field area in the northeast corner of the site will first be removed to make way for the new middle school. After completion of the new school, the existing school in the southwest corner of the site would be demolished and a new track and field area built in its place. As of December 5th, 2022 this project began construction work in November of 2022. All sub trades have been awarded at this time. *This project has been awarded and all trades have been let.
