Project Narrative (Scope of Work) Use Group: B (Existing - No Chage) Construciton Classification: 2b (Existing - No Change) Number of Stories: 3 (Existing - No Change) Height of Structure: +- 55 (Existing - No Change) Area of Renovated Areas: +- 3,678 Square Feet Removal and reinstallation of existing ceiling grids within area of work as indicated on drawings. Patch existing gyp. board ceiling as required. removal of existing ceiling and installation of new ceiling in the gallery space on level 000 (41) as indicated on plan. Power circuit modifications to support the mechanical work described above. Upgrade (retrofit) of (12) electrical distribution panels and replacement of (3) interior transformers. Replacement of the existing 150 kW, natural gas-fired, interior standby generator, and installation of one new standby power circuit for the IT closet in E-Wing. Extension of existing sprinkler head to new dropped ceiling in the gallery space on level 000 (41) Removal and replacement of 16 packaged gas/electric rooftop units and the associated curb adapters (14 on E-Wing Roof and 2 on F-Wing Roof). Removal and replacement of (2) air-conditioning split systems. Removal of 100 VAV boxes and installation of new ones with hot water reheat coils. Replacement of (12) duct-mounted hydronic heating coils and the associated control valves. Replacement of (8) existing hydronic circulating pumps. Installation of (2) new hydronic circulating pumps and installation of new hydronic distribution piping to serve the new VAV boxes. Ductwork modifications on the roof level and lower level of the F-Wing building. Removal of 11 laboratory fume hood exhaust fans at the roof level. HVAC control upgrades. Removal of one (1) existing, natural gas-fired, 100-gallon domestic hot water heater and installation of (2) new power-vented models. Failure to abide by the instructions may cause the submission to be deemed non-responsive and may be cause for rejection. A.
