Saving Project...

Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Oakville, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The owner has determined a prequalified list of general contractors. The Town of Oakville (the town) invites submission for prequalification described as: A pre-qualification of contractors for the removal and disposal of the existing concrete, installation of new concrete, grading, planting, electrical, site furnishing etc. at the Bronte Outer Harbour, located at 2340 Ontario Street, Oakville, ON L6L 6P7. The successful contractor will be required to manage the project in an occupied waterfront environment and ensure that the work is coordinated in such a way as to mitigate disruption to the normal operation of the harbour or park users. Destructive work that may cause, dust, debris or interfere with occupants (i.e. Boaters, park users etc.) will have to be fenced off and flagged for safety. The tentative duration of the construction work will be scheduled from early September 2022 and completion by or before November 30th, 2022. The Town reserves the right to modify tendering times and construction duration depending on the scope of the work. Project budget is in the range of $500,000 to $1,000,000.
