The proposed work involves the reconstruction of the infrastructure on Lincoln Road starting approximately 40 metres west of the trail crossing and finishing approximately 130 metres to the east. The project will include the installation of 125 metres of 250 mm PVC sanitary sewer main; 115 metres of 300 mm DI water main; 78 metres of concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, refuge island; asphalt concrete, landscaping, and related appurtenances. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or certified cheque in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Tender Price (including HST). Subject to the Contract Documents and the Supplemental Conditions, the successful bidder shall be required to provide Performance Securities as specified in the Bid Documents. Contractors responding to this Notice of Tender are advised that official contract documents can only be obtained from GEMTEC Consulting Engineers and Scientists Ltd.. Only Contractors who have received the Tender directly from GEMTEC Consulting Engineers and Scientists Ltd. are eligible to submit a Tender on this project. General Contractors only may obtain Drawings and Specifications from GEMTEC Consulting Engineers and Scientists Ltd., 191 Doak Road, Fredericton, NB 506-453-1025 on payment of $50.00 (including HST) per set, non-refundable. Tender Documents are on display at the Construction Association office at Fredericton and at GEMTEC Consulting Engineers and Scientists Ltd.. The lowest or any Bid shall not necessarily be accepted.
