Sullivan County is seeking an Airport Consultant in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) procedures as outlined in the current edition of Advisory Circular 150/5100-14. The work that may be accomplished over the next three (3) years, pending State and Federal funding, includes but is not limited to: 1. Construction of Corporate Bulk Hangar (Architectural/Engineering (A/E) Services) 2. Terminal Building Rehabilitation, Maintenance and Lighting. (Architectural/Engineering (A/E) Services) 3. Runway Safety Area Construction w/ Environmental Mitigation (Architectural/Engineering (A/E) Services) 4. Construction Corporate Taxi Lane and Apron (Architectural/Engineering (A/E) Services) 5. Airport Pavement Management System 6. Acquire Easement and Obstruction Removal 7. Land Acquisition for Runway Safety Area (RSA) 8. Design and Construction of 10 Bay T Hangar (Architectural/Engineering (A/E) Services) 9. Acquire Easement and Obstruction Removal 10. Improve Runway 15-33 Safety Area, (Architectural/Engineering Services) 11. The County reserves the right to refuse any and all proposals, in part, or in their entirety, or select certain products from various Firms proposals, or to waive any informality or defect in any proposal should it be deemed to be in the best interest of the County. The County is not committed, by virtue of this RFP, to award a contract, or to procure or contract for services. The proposals submitted in response to this request become the property of the County. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise firms are encouraged to respond to this Request for Qualifications. All other firms are encouraged to utilize the services of DBE's. The County has a goal of 10% DBE participation. The firm selected will be retained for a three (3) year period commencing on September 15, 2022, to provide services for any of the projects listed in this solicitation. The County reserves the right to revise the list of projects based upon the future needs over the three (3) year period. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
