This project consists of construction work at San Antonio International Airport, San Antonio, Texas. The intent of the contract is to provide for construction and completion of the work described. It is further intended that the Contractor furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the contract. The description of the base bid and alternate scope of work is as follows: For the TERMINAL A ELECTRICAL SYSTEM EXPANSION (SAN ANTONIO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT) PROJECT. Scope: The Terminal A Electrical System Expansion consists of a building renovation to SAT service level with modifications to the Electrical Room, Commissary Space, IDF Room, and Expanded Dock. This renovation scope will require demolition, concrete pavement, interior finishes, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, data and security systems. There will also be installation of two new 4,000 amp main switchgear sections with multiple electrical system shutdowns within limited timeframes, changeover plans and tie in connections.
