Renovation of an educational facility in Oshawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The University of Ontario Institute of Technology ("ONTARIO TECH") is seeking proposals from general contractors to complete interior renovations to existing classroom space at the Energy Systems and Nuclear Science Research Centre ("ERC") that will provide a space for state-of-the-art energy production and storage research in order to support the expansion of research under special funding, as further described in the Deliverables. - The Proponent will remove carpet flooring and replace with a Vinyl Flooring solution suitable for laboratory work in ERC 1054 and ERC 1056. - The Proponent will be responsible for electrical connections to new systems furniture, as well as one single-phase 208V and one 3-phase 208V outlet in ERC 1056. - ERC1054 will be renovated to the mechanical and electrical scope outlined in the Giallonardo Engineering M-0 to M-3.2 package, and Dynamic Designs and Engineering E-1 to E-6 package. - Please refer to Drawings and Specifications listed in the Associated Bid Documents for full details. Work shall be completed in accordance with the following schedule: Phase 1: Estimated Commencement Date: August 15, 2022. Completion Date: September 1, 2022. Phase 2: Estimated Commencement Date: October 11, 2022. Completion Date: February 26, 2023.
