Site work for a municipal facility in Big Spring, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.

The purpose of this investigation was to conduct subsurface exploration and to determine the subsurface conditions at the project site to develop geotechnical recommendations for the new metal and CMU buildings including foundation alternatives, required depths, and allowable bearing capacity values of the subgrade soils beneath the structures. In addition, the field and laboratory testing will include tests for roadway design recommendations for the new commercial paving systems based on projected traffic volumes and types of loads as well as engineering best practices for pavement systems. The scope of services provided for this project included an initial site reconnaissance performed by Terra personnel, soil exploration by drilling three (3) deep test holes for the building areas and three (3) deep test holes borings along the proposed pavement areas. Work included field drilling and laboratory testing, and an evaluation of the subsurface conditions. A report of Terra's findings and geotechnical engineering evaluation and recommendations was prepared. The scope of our Geotechnical Engineering Study does not include an environmental assessment of the air, soil, rock, or water conditions either on or adjacent to the site. Such Bid bond will be issued in the form included in the Bidding Documents. Default of Bidder occurs upon the failure of Bidder to deliver within the time required by the Bidding Documents (or any extension thereof agreed to in writing by Owner) the executed Agreement required by the Bidding Documents and any performance and payment bonds required by the Bidding Documents. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor Bid informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work.
