**The Project has been awarded to Haynes Electric – A Division of MB Haynes Corporation but no awarded amount available.** This REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) describes the requirements for the City of Hendersonville's (City) installation of active harmonic filtering equipment at its water treatment facility located at 4139 Haywood Road, Mills River, NC. Copies of the RFP may be obtained, via download from the City's website. A bid bond is not required. Any questions regarding the RFP should be submitted in writing to Adam Steurer, PE, Utilities Engineer via email: asteurer@hvlnc.gov at least 96 hours prior to bid opening. Questions that require a written response or a change to the requirements and/or specifications will be posted as an Addenda on the City's website. In the event of a major change to requirements and/or specifications, the City reserves the right to postpone the informal bid due date, with advance notice to all known bidders In the event of a tie bid, with all terms being equal, the City reserves the right to request the applicable vendors (only) submit best and final bids. This contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance and time of delivery. Materials and installation in accordance with the attached Main Utility Breaker Trip Events - Summary of Findings letter dated January 3, 2022, which generally include of installation of a Schneider Electric 300A AccuSine Wall Mount Active Harmonic Filter and associated equipment described therein. An estimated supply of materials is described within the proposal entitled Hendersonville Accusine - CES2017 Quote number Q-2739354 prepared by James Armstrong with Schneider Electric. This list of materials shall not be considered a complete list of all materials required for proper installation but have been included as a resource for bidders. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, in whole or in part, and to waive minor informalities when, at its sole discretion, said action is deemed to be in the best interests of the City
