This General Construction project involves Wastewater System Improvements for Thompson's Lake Campground (campground) and the Emma Treadwell Thacher Nature Center (Nature Center). The project will remove the connection to the Thacher Park Wastewater Treatment system and construct an Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) for the facilities. The project includes installation of a new OWTS raised field, select collection system improvements both directionally drilled force main and some gravity sewer installation, new septic and equalization tanks, manholes, several new pump stations, and associated appurtenances. Contract Milestone: Sanitary System shall be DOH approved and operational by May 15, 2023. Project Specific Liquidated Damages (Refer to Article 14.10 of the General Conditions). $1,000.00 per Calendar Day. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond/Payment Bond in the statutory form of public bonds required by Sections 136 and 137 of the State Finance Law, each for 100% of the amount of the Contract.
