Renovation of a detention facility in Buckhannon, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The Upshur County Commission is seeking bids for the furnishing of labor, materials and performance of all work set forth in the Request for Proposals. Bid proposals shall include materials, labor, equipment, insurance, taxes, bonds, fees, testing and similar construction-related expenses for a complete porch restoration. Work shall adhere to the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties. Only those individuals ontractors whom visit the site for an initial inspection of the area will be permitted to submit a bid. In order to be considered, prospective firms must submit one (1) original proposal and one (1) additional copy in the required format to: Upshur County Commission, c Cindy Hughes, 91 W Main St, Suite 101, Buckhannon, WV 26201. All bidders are required to have a valid West Virginia Contractor's License per Section 21-11-11 of the W.Va. Code. Successful bidder will be required to furnish all documentation listed before work may commence. The Upshur County Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids, in whole or in part, and waive any informality during the bidding process. This project is being made possible by generous support of the West Virginia Courthouse Facilities Improvement Authority.
