To the SDGC Security Department as required for the contract term. For the purpose of this solicitation, the District defines "Access Control Equipment" as devices used for security purposes and for regulating admittance to District locations. For the purposes of this solicitation, the term "Access Control Systems" includes, but is not limited to design, specification, provision, installation, integration, support, service and maintenance of these types of products and systems. This solicitation includes the purchase of materials, services or turnkey projects. The definition of each is stated below: Materials - The purchase of parts only from a vendor so District technicians may make repairs on existing access control systems as needed. Services - The District utilizing a vendor for design, consulting, training, setup, installetc. Turnkey Projects - The District utilizing a vendor that has the ability to supply all aspects of the project start to finish. Inquiry Deadline, the District will issue an addendum to address any questions or changes. The District will not respond to late inquiries. A bid opening or a pre-bid conference shall be postponed if the District's Procurement Department is closed for any of the following reasons: 1) Causes beyond the control of the District (e.g., fire, flood, weather conditions, etc.), or 2) Emergency or unanticipated events that interrupt normal District or Procurement operations.
