Integrated Design Solutions, 1441 W. Long Lake Road, Suite 200, Troy, Michigan 48098. SUMMARY OF THE WORK A. Summary of the Work: The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. All work required to design, fabricate and install exterior electronic display building signs on grade including excavation and backfilling, concrete foundations, power and technology connections and concrete sidewalk and lawn restoration. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single lump sum general contract Bid documents for B-2315-22 Exterior Building Signs for Stevenson and Utica High Schools may be obtained on or after July 19, 2022, from the district's online purchasing Portal at https://uticak12.bonfirehub.com/portal/tab=openOpportunities. Bids must be submitted online to the portal no later than 2:00 p.m., August 2, 2022 (the "Due Date"). Submissions through the portal will be the only accepted method to submit proposals for this project. Proposals will be electronically sealed until the stated Due Date and Time. On August 2, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. they will be publicly unsealed and read aloud via video conference. The owner will not accept or consider a bid received after the due date. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or money order made payable to Utica Community Schools or a bid bond naming Utica Community Schools as the oblige in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid as a Bid guarantee. Bid Bonds shall be issued by a company licensed to do business in the State of Michigan The successful Bidder shall provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond covering the faithful performance of the Contract and payment of all obligations arising thereunder, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The cost of such performance and payment bonds shall be included in the Bid.
