Renovation of a municipal facility in Selma, North Carolina. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of September 12th, 2022, project's second attempt at a bid opening resulted in a single bid that was well beyond the project budget. Therefore, the contract was not awarded. No definite date of rebid. Selma Union Station Improvements Contractors are hereby notified that they must have proper license under the State laws governing their respective trades and that North Carolina General Statute 87 will be observed in receiving and awarding contracts. General Contractors must have general license classification for all work pertaining to this project. No bid may be withdrawn after the opening of bids for a period of 30 days.
