Renovation of a transportation facility in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
This Contract will repair and restore the facades at Baisley Park, JFK, and LaGuardia Bus Depots that are dilapidated and past use life. Extremely dilapidated parts of the facades may pose safety hazards. The Work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition, required scaffolding work, brick repair and restoration including repointing and stitching, removal of cracked and damaged bricks, low-pressure washing of the exterior brick façade, removal and reinstallation of all items in conflict with the demolition, reparation, and restoration including AC units, exhaust fans, ductwork, electrical work, plumbing work, signage, window guards, parapet metal coping, and any other walls and windows penetrating elements and reinstallation of these items after reparation and restoration is completed. Funding: 100% FTA Goals: 22.5% DBE Est $ Value: $10M - $50M Contract Term: 548 Calendar Days *Due to the sensitive nature of the project, reference documents will not be posted.
