Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Brevard, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The proposed project will replace one (1) 1.0 million gallon old, obsolete, and deteriorated formed concrete reservoir, circa 1952 with one (1) new 1.0 million gallon prestressed concrete water reservoirs at the existing reservoir site. Location: End of Reservoir Road in Brevard, North Carolina Bid Security: A 5% bid security is required for this project. Qualifications: Contractors offering a bid on the project must be licensed to perform utility work in the State of North Carolina in accordance with North Carolina General Statutes and the General Requirements of the NCDEQ, SRF Contract Special Conditions. The contractor will be required to provide proof of work successfully performed of similar type as this project. NCDEQ SRF Requirements: This project is funded with SRF funds. Both bid and post bid submittals to meet all MBE/WBE requirements apply to this project. Award Requirements: The project will be awarded to the qualified bidder submitting the lowest bid total for both Divisions. Upon award of the project, the successful bidder will be required to provide Payment and Performance Bonds, and proof of general liability and workman's compensation insurance for this project. Withdraw of Bid and Informalities: No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
