Dane County is inviting proposals for professional engineering design services for restoration of the Black Earth Creek stream corridor adjacent to Walking Iron County Park. The goal of the project is to improve natural stream functions, with an emphasis on reducing erosion potential during floods and improving fish and wildlife habitat in and around the stream. The design should complement adjacent work in the Village of Mazomanie and on private land downstream of Walking Iron County Park.
