The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT), Northwest Territories Housing Corporation (NWTHC) is requesting tender from qualified contractors to replace water heaters in Fort Smith. Unit #'s: 50-1 & 50-2, 50-3 & 50-4, 50-5 & 50-6 Breyant Street There is a total of 6 water heaters. The contractor shall be responsible for all material and labor to complete the project. 1: The contractor shall replace the existing oil fired hot water heater with a new ToyoTomi oil fired hot water heater model OM-128HH. 2: The Contractor shall install a new NTI S20W high performance wall mounted indirect water heater. 3; The contractor shall install two new zone valves, one for the heating and one for the domestic hot water. 4: The Contractor shall install a Nava Clean magnetic filter on the heating line. 5: The Contractor shall install a new expansion tank. 6: The Contractor shall install a new flow switch and low water cut-off. 7: The Contractor shall install proper glycol for new boiler for freeze protection and provide the mixture % to the NWT housing Corporation technical advisor. 8: The Contractor shall clearly label all valves, zone valves, shut offs for the system 9: The Contractor shall ensure that all work shall be completed by a certified OBM. Proof of certification will be required at the time of award. 10: The contractor shall ensure that a certified electrician completes any electrical alterations. 11: The Contractor shall ensure that the existing water tanks and burners are delivered to the local housing maintenance yard once they have been removed. 12: The Contractor shall ensure the mechanical room is left clean and tidy before leaving the site. 13: The Contractor shall ensure there is no debris left on site.
