Renovation of a multi-residential development in Fort Smith, Northwest Territories. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

Unit s: 50-1 & 50-2, 50-3 & 50-4, 50-5 & 50-6 Breyant Street. This scope of work is for three identical duplexes in the community of Fort Smith NT. The work consists of replacing the roof covering and associated components. The Contractor shall refer to all documents, specifications and site conditions for preparation of all tender documents and execution of the contract. The contractor shall be responsible for all material and labor to complete the project. 1: The Contractor shall remove all of the existing shingles, roofing underlayment, any damaged ply wood, vents and flashings and dispose of them according to all municipal, territorial and federal regulations. 2: The Contractor shall replace any damaged/ rotten ply wood with new ½ ply wood c/w h clips. 3: The Contractor shall install all new roof edge around the perimeter of the roof. 4: The Contractor shall install two rows of ice and water shield membrane along all eaves and one row along all gables. There shall be ice and water shield in all valleys. 5: The Contractor shall install IKO Storm underlayment over the remainder of the roof surface. 6: The Contractor shall install new IKO Cambridge shingles as per the manufacturer’s installation instructions attached to this tender. 7: The Contractor shall install two new Vmax 301-12 roof vents along the ridge of each roof as per manufacturer’s installation instructions. They shall be spaced equally on the roof. 8: The Contractor shall replace all flashings and ensure that all new flashings are sealed to prevent water penetration. 9: The Contractor shall ensure the site is clean at all times and that debris is removed from site. 10: The Shingle color will be determined at the time of award. 11: The Contractor shall take all necessary precautions to prevent any injury to tenants as these units will be occupied at the time of construction. 12: The Contractor shall comply with all WSCC regulations while working on this project. No work shall start until a preconstruction meeting has taken place with the technical advisor assigned to this project
