QUALIFICATION OF BIDDERS: Prospective bidders shall at the time of bid opening, possess a valid Class "A" or "AB" contractor's license issued by the Nevada State Contractors Board, registered and in good standing with the Nevada Secretary of State, and provide verifiable documentation and references of at least three similar projects completed successfully. COMPLETION OF WORK: All work must be completed within; TWO HUNDRED FORTY-FIVE (245) calendar days after the date of commencement as stated in the Notice to Proceed. PROPOSAL GUARANTEE: Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total bid price payable to the Nevada Division of State Parks as a guarantee that the bidder, if his proposal is accepted, will promptly execute the contract, secure the necessary insurance, furnish a performance bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price, and furnish a labor and material bond in the amount of 100 percent of the bid price. WAGE RATES: As required by Nevada Revised Statutes, Chapter 338 and the United States Government, bidders are hereby notified that no less than the general prevailing wage rates, including rates for overtime and holiday work, in the locality in which the work is to be performed, for each craft or type of workman needed to execute the work contemplated under the Contract as determined by the Labor Commissioner of the State of Nevada and the U.S. Department of Labor, shall be paid to all workmen employed on said work by the Contractor or by a subcontractor performing any part of said work.
