The City of Dublin, Ohio will receive electronic bids from a licensed and qualified Design / Build Contractor, Contractor and hired design professional capable of sealing drawings for permitting, or other combination that can deliver a drawing package that can obtain a building permit and then construct those improvements. The proposal / quote should include two quotes: 1. The Design and permitting of the project by a licensed professional and 2. The construction of the designed and permitted drawings, including all materials and labor necessary to repair, refurbish, and install new boardwalks at Kiwanis Park. The park is located at 6245 Riverside Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017 (Note: Property owned by the City of Columbus, Ohio). This project includes design plan and detailing for permitting, selective site clearing, minor grading at boardwalk piers, earth / rock spoils removal, concrete landings at the ends of boardwalks, asphalt paths, pressure treated wood boardwalks (add alt. using composite decking on boardwalks), native landscape planting, and site restoration. Contractor will need to work with City of Dublin / Columbus Staff throughout the project to finalize construction details and work through the environmentally sensitive areas of the site. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Payment of Prevailing Wages is required for this Project. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The City of Dublin reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process and to enter into a contract with the bidder whom, in its opinion, offers the lowest and best bid.
