**As of October 24, 2022, project was awarded to Seneca Companies but awarded amount is not available.** The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will contract with an environmental firm to complete work at underground storage tank sites where there is no viable responsible party or where a funding mechanism to conduct required environment assessment and cleanup activities is lacking (abandoned sites). The DNR is soliciting services from a qualified Respondent to collect soil, groundwater or soil gas samples at leaking underground storage tank sites and to complete either a Tier 1 Report, Tier 2 Site Cleanup Report, Site Monitoring Report, or Corrective Action in accordance with Iowa Administrative Code 567-135.8 and conduct free product recovery and reporting in accordance with Iowa Administrative. All activities must comply with applicable DNR rules and guidelines provided in Iowa Administrative Code 567.134 and 567.135. The scope of work and the required completion schedules will vary with each project assignment. The duration of each assignment will vary depending on the complexity of the individual project. All project tasks preformed must be supervised by an Iowa Certified Groundwater Professional.
