Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Louisville, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Village of Louisville will receive bids for the Vandalia Road Drainage project including earthwork, pipe culverts, manholes, sidewalk, and ancillary work to complete the project, Deposit for the plans is non-refundable. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the general prevailing rate of wages in Louisville for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract or perform such work shall be paid. Also, the general prevailing rate of wages for legal holiday and overtime work, as ascertained by the Illinois Department of Labor, shall be paid for each craft or type of worker to execute the contract or to perform the work. The prevailing rate of wages are set forth in the Contract Documents. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The Village of Louisville reserves the right to reject any or allbids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. A Substance Abuse Policy shall be submitted before a contract is signed. Bids may be held by the Village of Louisville for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualiications of Bidders, prior to awarding the Contract.
