Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Brown Deer, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Project No.: 22.0256.01, CM22025 The project area contains of the parking lot west of the Brown Deer Public Library. The project consists of approximately 2,600 square yards of parking lot replacement. Major work items and approximate quantities include: 1,440 square yards of concrete pavement, 1,100 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter, 1,250 cubic yards of excavation common, 590 linear feet of 6-inch underdrain, 1,200 square yards of permeable pavers, 1,340 linear feet of pavement marking, 4 signs and sign posts, 3 storm sewer structures and 1,000 square yards lawn restoration. All Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, payable to the Village of Brown Deer, in the amount equal to five percent of the bid. Prospective bidders must be on the plan holders list through website for bids to be accepted. Bidders may not withdraw their bid within the 60-day period after the date of the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive any informality in the bids received and to accept any bid, which they deem most favorable to the interests of the Owner.
