For Emergency Mitigation and Remediation Services (RFP-2022-FM-172), which may be utilized as part of a federal reimbursement grant during a federally declared disaster. 5.A Payment and Performance bond will not be required by the awarded Proposer on any contracts estimated to be less than twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) at contract activation. Proposers that are awarded contracts that are estimated to be over twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) at contract activation will be required to provide both a Payment and Performance bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the not to exceed amount or equal to two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000), whichever amount is less. 6.The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. 7.The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury shall incur no obligation to the Contractor/Proposer until the Contract between the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury and the Contractor/Proposer is fully executed. 8.Minority owned firms and small businesses are encouraged to participate.
