**As of October 13, 2022, project was awarded to Mobile Communications America, awarded amount is $50,508.87** The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit responses from vendors that are qualified to provide a Bi-Directional Antennae System for James W. Smith Elementary school, a Craven County School. The Craven County Board of Education is requesting the services of an experienced, qualified, school technology vendor with experience in North Carolina to provide a Bi-Directional Antennae system (BDA) for reliable radio communications and the safety and security of students, staff, and first responders within the Craven County School District. The proposals received by the submittal deadline will be evaluated by a selection committee comprised of representatives of Craven County Schools. The committee will review and identify the vendor or vendors that are most qualified and responsive to the services requested. Interviews will be conducted as the committee requires further assessment. The successful vendor will be notified once an award/contract has been approved by the Superintendent and/or the Craven County Schools Board of Education. Each proposal shall include a statement indicating whether the firm or any persons working on the contract has a possible conflict of interest and, if so, the specific nature of the conflict. Craven County Schoolsreservesthe rightto cancelthe award if any interest disclosed from any source could either give the appearance of a conflict or cause speculation as to the objectivity of the program to be developed by the proposer.
