QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS INVITATION FOR BID: Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed in writing to Rosalie.Alther@vdot.virginia.gov The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions in writing no later than 4:00 PM five (5) calendar days prior to bid closing date Lot 1 - I64 from MM 99.9 at the Augusta/Nelson Line to MM 124 to include all ramps at Exits 107, 114, 118, 120 and 121 within Albemarle and Nelson Counties. Also includes: EB Overlook at MM100 EB MM102 VDOT Worker's Memorial EB MM104 Rest Area Entrance, Through Lane and Exit per request by VDOT WB MM113 Rest Area Entrance, Through Lane and Exit per request by VDOT 24.1 miles Lot 1 awarded Contractor shall also be responsible for pre-storm anti-icing treatment of both lots. Contractor may also be requested for pre-storm anti-icing treatment of some primary and possible secondary routes within the Culpeper District as outlined in Culpeper District's current brine pre-treatment plans. Brine applications and routes will be determined, requested and directed by VDOT. Lot 2 - I64 from MM 124 to MM 147.8 at the Louisa/Goochland County Line to include all ramps at Exits 124, 129, 136 and 143 within Albemarle, Fluvanna and Louisa Counties. 23.8 miles Also includes: EB closed Rest Area at approximate Mile Marker 146.2 per request by VDOT VDOT reserves the right to utilize any equipment on this contract in emergency situations to assist other areas within the Culpeper District at the contract prices with no additional markups. If requested to assist other areas, travel time for each piece of equipment from the interstate to the requested locations and the return trip back to the interstate, will be paid at contract hourly operational rates
