Work Location: Department of Aviation 5702 Gulfstream Road Richmond, VA 23250 PURPOSE The purpose of this IFB is to solicit bids to establish a requirements-based, time and materials contract with one qualified firm to provide "Building Maintenance and Repair Services" on a continuing, as-needed basis for the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Aviation (DOAV) Administrative Office Building and Flight Services Building located at 5702 Gulfstream Road, Richmond, Virginia, 23250. The contract shall be effective for one (1) year with four (4) successive, one (1) year renewal options available. This will be an optional-use contract. DOAV reserves the right to use other contractors at its discretion or through a competitive solicitation. II. SCOPE OF WORK A. General 1. Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, vehicles, tools, materials, supplies, and incidentals as needed to perform these services as specified herein on a continuing as-needed basis for DOAV. 2. Work performed under this contract shall be for interior and exterior projects. 3. Normal work hours for this contract are 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. 4. The Contractor shall have a minimum of five (5) years of commercial building maintenance and repair experience. 5. The Contractor shall perform no less than 50% of services awarded (i.e. usage of subcontractors shall not exceed 50%). Include information for all subcontractors to be used under this contract using a separate copy of Attachment C for each.
