Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the total bid. A 100% Performance & Payment Bond is required for this work. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date unless award is delayed by a required approval of another government agency or the sale of bonds in which case this Bid shall remain subject to acceptance for 120 days after the bid opening date provided the Act of November 26, 1978 (P.L. 1309, No. 317), as amended by the Act of December 12, 1994, (P.L. 1042, No. 142). The City reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the City, and to reject any or all proposals.
