Bidding Documents may be purchased at website. Plan holders will be required to have a valid email address and must purchase the Bidding Documents in order to be eligible to submit a Bid. Bids may be submitted in person or by mail. For delivery in person or by mail, the Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, plainly marked on the outside with the following: Bid for the Town of Duncan, MS, 2022 Wastewater Improvement Project, CDBG Project No. 1138-21-171-PF-01 to be opened on August 2, 2022, and addressed to Town of Duncan, MS, 204 West Park Street South, Post Office Box 106, Duncan, MS 38740. In addition, the envelope shall list the bidders Company Name, address and applicable state and local license and registration numbers of the bidder. The Owner and Engineer assume no responsibility for the premature opening of any bid envelope which is not properly marked. Bidders must be properly licensed by the MS State Board of Contractors for the type of Work required for this project. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit, with its bid, security in the amount of, form of and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, including Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246.
