** As of September 12, 2022, project is cancelled** The City of Roanoke will be accepting sealed bids for the demolition of a nuisance property located on Government Street in Roanoke Alabama. The property is known as the old Roanoke water treatment plant. The tax identification number is 56-16-07-35-3-016-003.000 The work shall be done in accordance with all applicable laws and ADEM regulations. All contractors bidding must have a City of Roanoke business license. Any contractor doing this work will be required to have in force and maintain a minimum of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) in liability insurance coverage. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
