Pacific County Department of Public Works solicits interest from consulting firms with expertise in Geotechnical Engineering Design to submit statements of qualification for a geotechnical report. This agreement will be for approximately one month in duration with the option for the Pacific County Department of Public Works to extend it for additional time and money if necessary. The Pacific County Department of Public Works reserves the right to amend terms of this "Request for Qualifications" (RFQ) to circulate various addenda, or to withdraw the RFQ at any time, regardless of how much time and effort consultants have spent on their responses. The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT consists of preparing a geotechnical report on roadway stability and necessary steps for temporary stabilization and providing recommendations for permanent stabilization and mitigation measures, including preparation of a standard section. The project site locations are on Ward Creek Road from 46.724094, -123.643063 to 46.724324, - 123.643004, two locations on Smith Creek Road between 46.787924, -123.590402 and 46.783895, - 123.548122, and the bank at Camp One Road Bridge at 46.665396, -123.674770 to 46.664499,- 123.673453. Existing inspection data and other data to include a representation of the selection process can be found on the County's website. The selection of consultants for this project will include an evaluation of the following factors: key personnel, ability to meet schedule, approach to project, familiarity with relevant codes and standards, past performance/references, approach to meet SBE goal, and QA/QC program. Pacific County encourages disadvantaged, minority, and women-owned consultant firms to respond. Firms desiring consideration shall submit TWO copies consisting of a cover letter, contact information for key personnel, statement of qualifications, (limit statement to 15 pages one sided not including cover letter), and references to Pacific County Courthouse Annex at 1216 W Robert Bush Dr, South Bend, WA 98586.
