Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Columbus, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

Nebraska Public Power District (DISTRICT) intends to procure the planning, material coordination, schedule preparation, labor, supervision, materials, tools, apparatus, equipment, conveyances, mobilization, and demobilization as necessary to replace the existing concrete bridge and check structure with a concrete and corrugated metal pipe (CMP) structure. The project is located approximately five (5) miles north-north-west of Lexington, Nebraska; 0.3 mile east of intersection of Roads 430 and 760 on the Dawson County Canal owned by the DISTRICT. The scope of work covered is intended to be a turnkey installation by the CONTRACTOR. Directions to the non-mandatory site pre-bid meeting site are as follow From the intersection of Adams Street and U.S. Highway 30 in Lexington, Nebraska, go 3.1 miles west on U.S. Highway 30. Turn right onto Road 430 and go north 3.8 miles. Turn right onto Road 760. Go east 0.3 mile to arrive at the bridge.
