Sealed Bids, in duplicate, addressed to TRAVIS COUNTY MUD NO. 21, Attention Mark Sprague, President, Board of Directors, will be received for "TRAVISSO PHASE 3, SECTION 10 - CLEARING PLAN" for Leander, Travis County, Texas. Scope of Work of the Contract includes the following: Clearing and Erosion Controls. Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. Attendance by each prospective bidder or its representative at the pre-bid conference is MANDATORY, and no Bid will be opened unless the bidder or representative was present at the pre-bid conference. as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. The requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Code, may apply to this Bid and the Contractor agrees that the Contract can be terminated if the Contractor knowingly or intentionally fails to comply with a requirement of that subchapter.
