1. Work covered by the Base Bid is an approximately 4,074 square foot building addition at the South/West Corner of the existing building. a. Demolition work will consist of the removal of existing exterior lighting fixtures, intercom, one set of existing exterior double doors, concrete walk removal and site earthwork. b. New work will consist of concrete foundation, concrete floor slab CMU/Masonry walls, wood truss system and roofing for a four-classroom building addition to be tied into the existing building with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work completed as well. 2. Work covered by Alternate bid #1 (ADD) - Contractor to provide cost for material and labor to remove existing gutters and downspouts on existing south addition and replace with new aluminum .050" thk. 4.5" x 5.5" gutters and 3" x 4" downspouts. 3. Work covered by Alternate bid #2 (ADD) - Contractor to provide cost for material and labor to install cabinetry into existing four classrooms in the existing south addition to match the new cabinetry in the new addition. 4. Work covered by Alternate bid #3 (ADD) - Contractor to provide cost for material and labor to install electrical connection from the new addition electrical panel to the existing building electrical panel located in the existing mechanical room.
