Description of Work: The proposed work is officially known as Section 22-00000-00-GM The Group IV work includes EARTH EXCAVATION 1,243.00 CU YD; GEOTECH FAB F/GR STAB 3,671.00 SQ YD; AGG BASE CSE B 4 1,179.00 SQ YD; AGG BASE CSE B 7 623.00 SQ YD; AGG BASE CSE B 10 194.00 SQ YD; BIT MATLS TACK CT 7,510.00 POUND; HMA BC IL -19.0 N50 454.00 TON; HMA SC IL-19.5 C N50 2,197.00 TON; PAVEMENT REMOVAL 3,507.00 SQ YD; HMA SURF REM 2 16,689.00 SQ YD; CL D PATCH T1 6 76.00 SQ YD; CL D PATCH T2 6 42.00 SQ YD; CL D PATCH T3 6 194.00 SQ YD; CL D PATCH T4 6 601.00 SQ YD on various streets throughout the City. Instructions to Bidders: A proposal guarantee by bank cashier's check, certified check or proposal bid bond in accordance with the "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction" prepared by the Illinois Department of Transportation adopted April 1, 2016, will be required. A surety bond for the full amount of the award will be required. The "prevailing rate of wages" as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor shall apply to this project. The right is reserved to reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities
