The P2A Pump Station provides water to the Sunrise eservoir, which supplis the north 2145 pressure zone. Due to recent development growth, this pump station has had difficulty providing enough water to overcome systme demands to allow the tank to fill. While the pump station was enclosed in a building around 1997, the pumps predate this by several years. This project includes upgrading the pumps to increase output, and upgrading the electrical controls to modern standards. Upgrading this pump station would directly suppot the growth in the 2145 zone, specifically the Speedway area. This project is included in the city's FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Program. As of July 22, 2022, further details regarding design and construction timelines have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
