This proposal is to provide the City of Columbus with a Universal Term Contract (blanket type) to purchase approximately 1,000 tons annually of Sodium Chloride used as an Ion Exchange agent for brine manufacturing to be distributed to various outposts. The proposed contract will be in effect through June 30, 2023. 1.2 Classification: The successful bidder will provide, deliver and unload bulk quantities of Sodium Chloride. Bidders are required to be authorized dealers or distributors and show experience in providing this type of chemical as detailed in these specifications. 1.2.1 Bidder Experience: The offeror must submit an outline of its experience and work history in these types of materials and/or warranty service for the past five years. 1.2.2 Bidder References: The offeror shall have documented proven successful contracts from at least four customers that the offeror supports that are similar in scope, complexity, and cost to the requirements of this specification. 1.3 Specification Questions: Questions regarding this bid must be submitted on the Vendor Services portal by 11:00 am Monday, July 18, 2022.
