Site work for a road / highway in Valdez, Alaska. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway.
As of 8/24/22 no bids received. A timeline for the rebid date of this project is not yet available. This project includes, but is not necessarily limited to: Furnish and install Coast Guard City Sign on the Valdez arch on Egan Dr. Valdez, AK per the Design Alaska project manual dated May 26, 2022. Contractor responsible for all materials, equipment, and labor to install the sign. Contractor will also be responsible for obtaining a lane closure permit from ADOT Northern Region for work adjacent to the ADOT right of way. The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in a quote, to reject any and all quotes without cause, and to re-solicit for quotes. Current minimum prevailing wage rates as published by the Alaska Department of Labor must be paid if required by law. Requirements of the Alaska Employment Preference (AS 36.10) must be met. The City of Valdez encourages disadvantaged, minority and women-owned firms to respond and is available to assist said firms in learning how to do business with the City. The City of Valdez "Standard Specifications and Standard Details" shall be used.
