Description

Renovation of a fire / police facility in Drummond, Montana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

The Valley Fire District, as general contractor, is requesting sealed, written bids from subcontractors, as follows: 1) Concrete work project, and 2) Heating and plumbing work project; all for a new Fire Hall to be located at 242 East Front Street, Drummond, Montana. Bidders may bid on one or both of the subcontracting projects described above. Each bid proposal must specifically detail the total itemized cost, for labor and materials, for each subcontracting project being bid upon. Any subcontractor bid proposals of $25,000 or greater in totality (regardless of how subcontracting projects bid upon) must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount, or an irrevocable letter of credit from a federally insured bank for ten percent (10%) of bid amount. Successful bidder must enter into a written contract with Valley Fire District. Completion dates are negotiable. For all bids over $50,000, regardless of how many subcontractor projects are bid upon, customary liability insurance coverage, and a payment and performance bond will be required of the successful bidder. All Valley Fire District contracts must comply with state, federal, and local laws.
