As of August 29th, 2022, project was awarded to Tomco Construction ,Inc., with an awarded amount of $2,965,161.01. The Scope of Work may be reviewed at CP Engineers, 11 Park Lake Road, Sparta, NJ 07871. Questions shall be submitted in writing to dave.clark@cpengineers.com no later than 5:00 pm Friday, July 22, 2022. Any notices of addendums or cancellation and postponements may be found at online under current bidding opportunities. Solicitors are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. Bids must be submitted in duplicate, one copy on the proposal forms contained in the package and one copy scanned as a PDF file and submitted on a CD or flash drive. Bids shall be delivered to the office of the Township Clerk in the Township of Sparta municipal building, 65 Main Street, Sparta, NJ 07871.
Bids are not to be delivered to the offices of CP Engineers. Bids must be in a sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the Bidder and the name of the project. This information must be on the outside of the envelope and addressed to the Township Clerk in the following format: Title: White Lake Fields - 2022 Athletic Fields If the Bid is sent by overnight or express mail, the above designation SHALL also appear on the outside of the courier company envelope.
Any proposal received not complying with these requirements SHALL not be opened and returned to sender marked "Unresponsive." The Township reserves the right to award contracts in its sole discretion and further reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive minor technicalities and informalities and to decide as to the responsibility and responsiveness of the Bidders.
