The project is expected to be awarded on October 5, 2022.** DESCRIPTION: The Districts' is soliciting bids to replace the SprayMaster Deaerator and related equipment. The existing SprayMaster Deaerator does not currently operate as intended as the internal spray head is damaged. The deaerator trim and controls are outdated, and much of the piping leading to and from the deaerator show signs of degradation. In addition to the new equipment, the Districts' is requesting that training be provided to Districts' staff regarding the safe operation and maintenance of the new equipment. At time of bid, the Contractor shall possess a valid California Contractor's License in the following classifications: C-4 All bids shall be accompanied by a bidder's surety equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount bid in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond from an admitted surety, made payable to "County Sanitation District No. 2 of Los Angeles County." The successful bidder shall be required to provide good and sufficient bonds for payment of laborers and materialmen as required in the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, 2018 Edition, and the Districts' Amendments, dated 202020. Bonds shall be delivered to the Purchasing Office of the County Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County within ten (10) days of award of purchase order.
