REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL RFP#22-014 RESIDENTIAL SOLID WASTE COLLECTION & DISPOSAL SERVICES Service(s)requested: Include weekly collection of residential solid waste from 95-gallon roll-carts provided by the contractor. Services also include once a week recycling service with either contractor owned 18-gallon bins or 65-gallon carts upon request. Recyclable materials include aluminum and steel cans, newspapers, plastics #1-#7, cardboard, and magazines. Services will need to include once per week bulk item collection on an on-call basis within 24 hours prior to the request. Yard waste services provided once per week. All leaves and grass clippings must be placed inside biodegradable paper bags. Limbs and shall be piled in an area at the curb that is no greater than 4 feet high by 4 feet deep by 4 feet wide. The City will pay the Contractor monthly, based on the timely invoice with details regarding each household. Contractor will provide monthly performance and service reports, in addition to providing statistical data on the specific routes, including disposal weight tickets load amounts, tonnage of refuse, recyclable amounts per day, route operational data amounts to the City. Contractor agrees to address all issues or concerns promptly and cordially. Contractor must provide neighborhood clean-ups events up including three free hauls one time per year. Contractor must provide Back-Door Services for the medically disabled. Contractor must provide educational materials about the services provided in English, Spanish and other languages if requested.
