Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a water / sewer project in Sherman, Texas. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

1. Installation of Owner purchased UF membrane equipment 2. Installation of Owner purchased RO membrane equipment 3. Procurement and installation of UF feed pump, RO feed pump, UF backwash pump, and a High Service pump. 4. Membrane support equipment procurement and installation, including a blower, an air compressor, and disk filter. 5. Chemical storage and feed improvements in the membrane building. 6. Interconnecting pipe and valves within the membrane building and the high service pump station. 7. Construction of a new electrical building, electrical gear, and interconnecting electrical improvements to support the membrane process expansion. 8. Electrical improvement in the high service pump station building. 9. HVAC improvements in the new electrical building and existing high service pump station building. 10. Site improvements as required to support the above listed improvements. 11. All other improvements as shown on the drawings. The Project will be bid as a single contractor package with lump sum prices with alternates and includes installation of pre-purchased membrane equipment and integration components including pumps, piping, controls, electrical equipment, and other components required for operation of the new equipment. Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's check or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price payable without recourse to the City of Sherman, or an original bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company licensed by the State of Texas to act as a Surety and be listed on the current U.S. Treasury Listing of Approved Sureties, or a Binder of Insurance executed by a surety company licensed by the State of Texas to act as a surety or its authorized agent as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute a Performance Bond within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract to bidder. 6, Performance, Payment and Warranty Bonds will be required on the forms provided in the amount of one hundred per cent (100%) of the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the state of the project state to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner. The Qualifications Statement in the Bidding Documents must be completed and submitted with the bid. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating bid prices, the Owner reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous construction thereof, to reject any or all bids, and to waive formalities. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the date on which bids are opened. The right is reserved by the Mayor and the City Council, as the interests of the City, to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in bids received.
