Scope Summary Repair and/or replace drainage structures located in District 11. Work shall include: Perform all work in compliance with KYTC Standard Specifications current edition. Maintain and control traffic for each site. Comply with MUTCD and KYTC Standard Drawings for traffic control. Vendor will be responsible for traffic control on each site from the time the repair begins thru the date traffic is opened on DGA Base or other approved material by the Section Engineer. Saw cut pavement, excavate, remove existing structure, re-channel and/or pump any water flow that may be present necessary to place the new structure. Provide and place TY IV filter fabric when dissimilar materials are encountered. Construct culvert with 1/8" to 1/4 " per ft fall along flow line. The Section Engineer may approve variances based on field conditions during the work. Limits for inlet/outlet placement will be marked by the Section Engineer in the field. The final alignment of the new structure may differ from the existing drainage situation. This alignment will be marked by the Section Engineer. Mechanically compact all fill and backfill material as outlined in the Specifications. Vendor is not responsible for asphalt paving.
