Site work for a water / sewer project in Pismo Beach, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Per the owner, as of August 29, 2024, the city did not move forward with the project and will re-advertise an RFP at a future date to still be determined. The owner states that this is not likely for another year or so. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. .............. The City of Pismo Beach is requesting sealed proposals to provide professional engineering consulting services from a qualified firm or joint venture of firms for the Pismo Beach Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Water Meter Project. The project consists of assisting the City to convert its water meter reading system to an Advanced Metering Infrastructure system to allow for remote reading of the Citys water meters, provide customers with real time information on their water usage and provide alerts to customers regarding high flows, high usage and to promote water conservation. Specific questions will be accepted in writing up to 72 hours before the proposal due date and time by emailing Ben Fine, at bfine@pismobeach.org. For non-technical questions contact Erin Olsen at eolsen@pismobeach.org. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
